Volunteer!
Volunteers are critical to our success, as we are 100% volunteer based. Volunteers provide care for our shelter dogs/cats 3 times per day, 7 days a week. This includes dog walking, socialization with dogs/cats, play time in the outdoor run/kennels, cleaning, laundry, dishes, etc. We also need regular help with transportation to vet appointments and assistance at events. Sign up for shifts when you’re willing and able!
*Children ages 13-15 can volunteer with parental supervision.
Fostering is also vital to our organization. Not only does fostering allow a dog/cat to live in a home environment, but it frees up space in our shelter to bring in another animal in need. A foster provides care for a dog/cat until they find their forever home. We provide their vetting and food and you provide a home and love. An amazing foster will work on basic training (crate training, sit/stay, and general manners). This will make them more attractive to potential adopters and will better prepare the dog/cat for their forever home.
