Paws In Middle Georgia Animal Rescue Inc is a nonprofit 501c3 volunteer-based animal welfare organization dedicated to rescuing homeless dogs and cats from overcrowded shelters. We currently are operating as a foster home network (no building) rescue while we fundraise to purchase a building.
We operate as a no-kill rescue through 100% volunteer-based support. Through our rescue, volunteers and a network of foster-based homes and supporting organizations, animals will receive vetting (including spay/neutering prior to adoption), training, and socialization to prepare them for adoption by a loving, caring family. Our goal is to build community relations and educate the residents of Houston and surrounding counties on responsible animal care in hopes of reducing the number of community strays, unplanned litters, and euthanasia at our local animal shelters.

As of December 2025, Paws does not have a building. We are working hard to save and raise funds so we can purchase a forever home to house Paws in Middle Georgia and the animals that come through our care on the way to their furever home.
