Sadie, Our Longest Resident

Sadie has been patiently waiting over 400 days for her forever home. She was found wandering the streets right before Thanksgiving 2022 and was cold and wet from the rain.

She is a TOUGH dog with a GENTLE soul. Spending so much time in a rescue facility causes a lot of dogs to break down, however she is holding strong. She does not let it break her spirit. She gives the most loving greetings that include high jumps and wiggle butts. She is also becoming more and more affectionate by the day, nibbling on your ear and giving kisses.

However, priority number one is playing tug of war with her most prized possession: her rope toy. Sadie makes the most ridiculous play growl noises when playing tuggy. She will swing that toy around with the force of an elephant trunk!

She loves to go on sniff walks so someone who likes to walk/run/hike would surely find a great companion in Sadie. She has had professional training and would do best in a home as an only pet. More love for her!

Her adoption fee is 100% sponsored. She is dearly loved by volunteers and we will make sure she goes to the right person. Maybe it’s someone you know!
